Diamond Specialist

Nuha Jewelers is Seeking a Full-Time Diamond Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Managing loose diamond inventory and shipments for purchased/memo products.
• Check in new loose ungraded stones into Excel.
• Identify color, clarity and cut. Assess what is required to improve the stones and communicate with cutters.
• Build and cultivate relationships with our cutters and suppliers.
• Manage the cutting process and submit stones to GIA and assess market prices.
• Handle all inquiries for loose stones providing clients with meaningful feedback.
• Managing Melee sorting & soaking processes.
• Managing Melee auction submission and price discovery.
• Sourcing stones for in store clients from our network of suppliers.
• Preparing appraisals for clients.

Qualifications: 

• Diploma/Certification from the Gemological Institute of America (Graduate Gemologist (GG) or Graduate Diamonds (GD) Diplomas REQUIRED).
• Strategic thinker with an excellent work ethic.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate good working relationships both internally and externally.
• You are trained in loose diamond identification & grading with inventory management experience.

Competencies:

• Willingness to constantly learn and improve processes.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Organization, attention to detail and commitment to exceptional customer service are held in high regard.
• You are a person with a positive attitude, high integrity, who is open to feedback and eager to learn.
